Jacob's Touch Foundation is proud to host our annual Charity Golf Tournament on Saturday, September 27, 2025, at the beautiful Westchase Golf Club. Our goal this year is to raise $100,000 to support our mission of providing financial care and assistance through grants for therapy, medical, and educational needs to families and nonprofit organizations supporting autistic and neurodiverse individuals.
Autism now affects 1 in 31 children, a dramatic increase from 1 in 150 in the year 2000. 82% of parents report that their children with autism struggle to form friendships and often feel isolated. Nearly 45% of parents and caregivers of children with autism experience significant mental health challenges. Autism is the fastest-growing serious developmental disability in the U.S.-more prevalent than multiple sclerosis, cystic fibrosis, and childhood cancer combined.
With the generous support of our sponsors, donors, and event participants, Jacob's Touch Foundation raised over $70,000 in 2024 to benefit Tampa Bay area families and organizations. These funds provided direct assistance with therapy, education, and medical expenses, and were also awarded as grants to local 501(c)(3) nonprofits aligned with our mission.
