I’m delighted to welcome friend of Capizzo and award-winning poet Jack Ridl for a special afternoon of Poetry, Art and Music. 

Jack is one of my favorites and a literary treasure. A longtime professor at Hope College, he has a remarkable gift for connecting with people through his words, wit, and warmth.

Jack will be joined by Tony Amato, who started the tradition of Jack's poetry readings at the Red Dock, where they were held for years. We're delighted to carry on that tradition here at Capizzo.

Adding to the afternoon will be music by Rob and the Buds, a talented and well-loved group that recently opened for bluegrass Hall of Famer Sam Bush. We're fortunate to have them joining us as a wonderful complement to Jack's reading.

Whether you're a longtime poetry lover, first-timer or haven't attended a reading in years, I think you'll enjoy this.
