Art Coast® Food & Wine Festival Gallery Showcase

We're excited to be one of three venues participating in the Gallery Showcase on the last night of the inaugural Art Coast® Food & Wine Festival, Nov. 5-7, in Saugatuck-Douglas. A free shuttle will take attendees on a circuit that includes J. Petter Galleries and RUTH CROWE - ARTist Studio. At Amazwi, guests will enjoy small African-inspired bites and beverages, and the musical stylings of Ivan Akansiima, an Ugandan-born musician whose musical journey has taken him across 40 countries, combining traditional and contemporary African genres, jazz, gospel, soul, Afro-Cuban and more. He will be accompanied by noted percussionist and band leader Kevin Jones, who also serves as the professor of hand percussion and African & Afro Latin drumming at Michigan State University.
