J4F MORE Foundation Presents: Raul Pacheco- Music, Mission & Legacy
About this Event
Event Summary
Join us for the inaugural J4F MORE Foundation event: an intimate morning of music, conversation, mentorship, and creative access with Raul Pacheco — musician, songwriter, storyteller, founding member of Ozomatli, and creator of Man Boy Brown.
This is not a concert in the traditional sense. It is not a panel. It is not a promo stop.
It is a live creative salon built around the human side of craft.
Together, we will gather inside Just 4 Feet Studio for a meaningful conversation with Raul about music, identity, creative longevity, collaboration, legacy, and what it means to keep making work that matters. The event will include live music, a guided conversation, audience Q&A, and time for light snacks & community connection.
J4F MORE Foundation exists because we know what it feels like to stand outside a closed door. We know what it feels like to have talent, curiosity, and drive, but not always have access to the rooms, people, tools, or pathways that help turn possibility into a life.
We are building what we always wished had existed.
This inaugural event is part of that promise.
About J4F MORE Foundation
J4F MORE Foundation exists to preserve creative mastery and expand access through mentorship, outreach, and real-world education.
MORE stands for Mentorship, Outreach, Resource, and Education.
Our mission is to create meaningful access for students, emerging creatives, and underrepresented voices by bringing them into real creative environments with working professionals, real stories, real tools, and real pathways.
Because every creative journey deserves Just 4 MORE Feet.
Sometimes 4 feet is the distance between being outside the room and finally being invited in. Sometimes 4 feet is the difference between seeing a possibility and being close enough to believe it could be yours. Sometimes 4 feet is the wall that feels impossible to climb without a ladder, without help, without someone saying, “Come with me.”
J4F MORE is here to be that invitation.
About Raul Pacheco
Raul Pacheco is a musician, songwriter, producer, and storyteller whose work has helped shape the sound of Los Angeles and beyond. As a founding member of Ozomatli, Raul has spent decades creating music rooted in culture, movement, community, and connection.
Through his solo work as Man Boy Brown, Raul continues to explore identity, memory, fatherhood, healing, and the deeply personal layers of creative life.
For our first J4F MORE gathering, Raul brings not only his music, but his lived experience as an artist who has built a life through craft, collaboration, resilience, and purpose.

Why This Matters
Creative careers are often built through proximity.
Someone lets you sit in the room. Someone explains what is happening. Someone answers a question you were afraid to ask. Someone lets you watch the process. Someone says, “Come with me.”
For too many students, especially those without industry connections, that proximity never comes.
J4F MORE Foundation was created to change that.
We are building a bridge between students and working creative professionals. Between inspiration and real-world education. Between talent and access. Between the dream of a creative life and the rooms where that life begins to feel possible.
This first event is the beginning of that work.
Who Should Attend
This event is for students, artists, musicians, educators, filmmakers, audio professionals, community leaders, creative industry partners, donors, sponsors, and anyone who believes that craft should be preserved and passed forward.
It is especially meaningful for students and emerging creatives interested in music, recording, production, storytelling, media, performance, live events, film, post-production, and the creative industries.
