Join us as we mark the 80th anniversary of the end of World War II with a special day of remembrance, history, and celebration.
What to expect:

🎶 A USO-style variety show with Paul & Alyssa Martin (Bob Hope & Dawn O’Day).
👧👦 Kids’ activities: plane-spotting, signaling, uniform try-ons & photos.
🪖 WWII reenactors, artifacts & living history displays.
🚙 Restored WWII military vehicles (weather permitting).
⚓ Volunteers from USS Slater with naval history insights.
📚 Talk by historian Dr. Lisa Mundey on how victory was won.
🎨 Portraits of WWII veterans by artist Jon Scott, plus Q&A with local veterans.
🍦 Free Stewart’s Shops ice cream all day!
