itä wines began with an idea and a test plot on the family farm in Walla Walla. After studying enology and viticulture at Walla Walla Community College and interning at Domaine Jean Chartron in Burgundy, Kelsey Albro Itämeri decided to launch her own label and itä wines was born.

Her whole approach comes down to one idea: stay out of the way. She sources from higher-elevation sites in the foothills of the Blue Mountains in Walla Walla and uses minimal intervention in the cellar — no added water or acid, ever — so the wine tastes exactly like what it is. Join us August 6th to taste her wines and hear the story behind them straight from Kelsey herself. Your tasting fee will be applied to your bottle purchases.
