It's Time to Talk about it! (ITTAI): In-Person

It’s Time to Talk about it! (ITTAI) is designed to teach family members, care givers, and other invested community members who interact with young people how to recognize the warning signs and risk factors of suicide so that they are able to identify these signs in youth who they may encounter in everyday activities and have conversations about suicide that help youth create a safety net.

During the course, you will:

• Learn how to identify risk by differentiating between the warning signs and risk factors of suicide.
• Learn strategies to approach youth and communicate directly about suicide.
• Learn how to ask the suicide question.
• Learn how to support a young person in need.
• Learn ways to promote strength and resiliency/protective factors for young people.
• Learn about local resources that can help.

Participants earn a personalized certificate upon completion.
