NEW DATE! You're invited to join the BHS trustees on Wednesday, March 4th at 7:00 p.m. as we show off items from the museum archives and give short presentations covering a wide range of topics. This free program takes place at Taylor Pavilion, 5th and Ocean Avenues. Doors open at 6:30 p.m.Last year we learned about the history of baseball in Belmar, viewed lifeguard belts belonging to local legends, learned of our link to the American Revolution, and laughed at tales of growing up in town in the 1940's. We were even presented with finds that a local homeowner discovered behind the walls during a living room remodel! Our trustees are busy with all new and intriguing topics and artifacts for 2026 – Come find out what we have in store!
Members of the audience are encouraged to bring their own memorabilia to share, whether it’s old photos, artwork, personal stories, or family treasures from a bygone era. Do you have a mystery item that needs identifying? Maybe we can help!
This event is suitable for all ages and open to the public.
Light refreshments will be served.
