It's Giving Dance September Charity Event - San Diego Humane Society

This month, our charity will be the San Diego Humane Society 🐾, an open-admission shelter for 14 cities across San Diego County who are there for every stray pet, every victim of cruelty or neglect and every animal with nowhere else to go. Did you know that they help over 40,000 animals each year? 🙀 Now it's our turn to help them! 🫶🏼

Please bring at least 3 items from the list below for our four-legged friends at The San Diego Humane Society in order to join our jazzy musical theatre dance class. 🎶

At It’s Giving Dance, we’re all about kindness, community, and a little sparkle✨— and this class is our way of saying thanks for giving to those who need it most. 💜

Since all donations go directly to The San Diego Humane Society, helping them to shelter, care for, and adopt tens of thousands of pets in need, your donation is necessary in order to participate in the class. Your donations will make a life-changing difference for animals in need! 🐕🐈

• Non-refrigerated and unexpired pet food and treats (new bags and cans, opened bags in the original packaging)
• New pet supplies (collars, harnesses, leashes, beds, pee pads, litterboxes, litter, toys, etc.)
• New or unused flea, tick and heartworm preventatives (we cannot accept any other prescription medications)
• New or gently used exercise pens, crates, kennels (without stains, rusting, warped metal or cracked plastic)
• New or gently used towels, blankets, flat sheets, pillowcases (washed with no stains or holes; we do not accept pillows, comforters or foam mattress pads)
• Clean and gently used fur items (coats, shawls, etc.)
• Cardboard box tops and trays (repurposed for disposable litter boxes)
• Newspaper

You can expect a 90-minute jazzy dance class (you can try it in heels if you would like!) for all levels with stretching, musical theatre style choreography 🎭, and an empowering atmosphere! We are dancing to Roxie from Chicago, so feel free to listen to the song and learn the lyrics. ❤️ Attire that makes you feel like you are Roxie on Broadway is encouraged but anything that makes you feel confident and comfortable is the main goal! Come give, dance, and make a difference in your community! 🥰
