Italian for improvers - Four lessons (6 hours)
£80
Starting Friday November 22nd
When: Friday mornings 11-12.30pm
Where: The Governor' s House, Newark
Why: Connect with new friends while learning Italian in a supportive, enjoyable environment.
This is a class for people with a little Italian experience – maybe you've done a course a while ago, or spent lots of time in Italy on holiday getting to grips with the basics. Perhaps you've studied solo e.g. using Babbel/Duolingo but not put your learning into practice yet – this course is for you!
The classes will run continually, to be paid in advance in blocks of four lessons (six hours tuition), with breaks for Christmas, Easter and over summer.
We will cover, among other things:
Topics
-describing the home & other places
-talking about holidays
-describing people (appearance & character)
-talking about food & wine – very important!
-talking about memories & past experiences
-going to the doctor (body vocabulary)
-discussing films, books, music & art
Grammar
-(review) present tense
-past tense (regular & irregular verbs)
-prepositions (to, at, in etc.)
-irregular plurals
