About this Event
This comprehensive live online session focuses on supporting young people from arrival through to leaving care. During the training, you’ll learn about the individual components of the triple planning process and how to apply them when working with both relevant and former relevant Unaccompanied Asylum-Seeking Children (UASC). We’ll explore the new rules arising from the Nationality and Borders Act 2022 and discuss creative strategies to meet the needs of young people within the complex landscape of immigration policy. By implementing safety plans, you’ll increase your confidence when working with young individuals, reducing the risk of exploitation and destitution. Drawing from best practices across the UK and Europe, we’ll guide you through incorporating these methods into your individual care and pathway plans.
