More About our Speaker
Molly Kent, PhD, received her undergraduate degree in Biology with an emphasis in Neuroscience from the University of Wisconsin, and her Ph.D. from the University of Illinois. She has taught psychology and behvioral neuroscience at Randolph Macon College, the University of Richmond, and currently serves as assistant professor of biology at the Virginia Military Institute.
Dr. Kent has published multiple peer-reviewed articles and serves as Director of the VMI Center for Undergraduated Research (VCUR) where she fosters an environment of active learning.
Through her own personal challenges, Dr. Kent learned that adversity can lead to profound growth.
