Isang Bansa's 33rd Pilipino Cultural Night

Pilipino Cultural Night is Isang Bansa's 33nd annual event that allows our Filipinx-American/Filipino group at LMU to showcase Filipino culture through traditional dances, student written skits and performances, and authentic Filipino food! This tradition has been around since the 80's and helps strengthen and unite our family here at Isang Bansa.

Isang Bansa's 33rd Annual Pilipino Cultural Night is the largest cultural event at Loyola Marymount University. PCN involves 14 Filipino traditional performances, all originating from different parts of the Philippines - comprising of Tinikling, Singkil, and Pandanggo Sa Ilaw, and more. This event also interweaves a theatrical play created by IB’s very own cultural coordinators called "Aking Ligaya" (My Happiness), which follows a love story between a Filipino and a Filipino-American who meet in the motherland. Throughout the event, Filipino food and drinks will be provided alongside Isang Bansa’s merchandise and other vendors.

Doors open at 3:00 p.m. and the show starts around 4:00 p.m. This year's PCN is an outdoor event and it may be cold so feel free to bring a warm jacket or blanket! Please join us in celebrating a night of food, entertainment and family! We are proud to share our culture and traditions with you all.
