Tahlequah Creates is delighted to bring you the amazing prolific exceptional talent of Isaac Elliott. Isaac makes his home near Wyandotte, OK but for part of the year he travels with Irish songwriter Kenan Flannery, playing music far and wide. Yes, he's a skilled guitar player with a powerful voice. But he's also an enthusiastic and curiosity-driven music and folk historian. He's a vet. He's a cancer-survivor. He's a comedian.
You know, these are hard times for a lot of people because of the BIA and EPA funding cuts. The Forest Service office closed at Broken Bow, which is in the most biodiverse county in this state. The Park Service was hit hard. I think the ANWR got tapped on Day 1. That's stressful. It's healing (comforting?) to get harmonized. If you've ever found truth in the songs of Woody Guthrie, John Prine, Steve Earle, Jesse Welles, then I think you will like Isaac Elliott's originals.
