This class is designed to be PAIN FREE for the therapist and clients!
Fascia is a layer of fibrous tissue that surrounds muscles, groups of muscles, blood vessels, and nerves, binding some structures together while permitting others to slide smoothly over each other.
This Direct Fascial technique class teaches 30 specific routines from the back, hips, posterior legs, anterior, posterior, and lateral cervicals, abdominal, anterior and lateral legs, to low legs and feet.
Fascia is continuous with specialized elements of fascia such as tendons and ligaments. Tendons and ligaments share with the general fascia collagen fibers, elastic fibers, cellular elements and ground substances. Mechanorecptors and proprioceptors are found in these specialized elements and report to the brain and spinal cord information on body position and movement.
By working with the fascial envelope you can begin to correct any mal-alignments of the body including: postural, positional, work or sport related, as well as, physical and emotional concerns.
This is not a chiropractic course.
