Demystifying Neuromuscular Therapy - Upper ExtremityThe Demystifying Neuromuscular Therapy (NMT) classes mix old-school style with a modern research-based approach.
I aim to make my classes accessible for someone brand-new to NMT but also informative enough to keep it interesting for long-time professionals.
Get real results that are not painful to the client and are easy on your hands!
The techniques can be used in a comprehensive way, or seamlessly worked into most Swedish-style sessions, in small doses.
This Upper Extremity class discusses and teaches you how to confidently treat the most common problems with the head, neck, and arms.
These conditions include but are not limited to:
Several common types of headaches
Torticollis and military neck
Thoracic Outlet Syndrome
Rotator Cuff stability and Frozen Shoulder
Impingement, Golfer's Elbow, and Tennis Elbow
Tenosynovitis and Carpal Tunnel Syndrome.
Specific anatomy will be reviewed and discussed as well as assessment techniques and corrective strategies.
There will be lecture followed by demonstration and observed hands-on trade.
