About this Event
Cardinal Paul Cullen was one of the most important figures in modern Ireland, and a leading figure in the Irish Catholic Church. Professor Colin Barr from the University of Notre Dame will draw on his new book, The Irish Pope: Paul Cullen, 1803-1878 (Cambridge University Press, 2026), to explore his fascinating life and key role in the evolution of Catholicism in modern Ireland.
