Manchester United are hiring Ipswich Town head of recruitment Sam Williams for a role with their academy.
Williams will return to the club he left in April 2022 as lead scout for the 17-21 age bracket and lead on recruitment of high potential talent for the club’s development programme.
He will report into head of academy recruitment, Luke Fedorenko.
Williams has enjoyed a successful two-year spell at Ipswich, working alongside former United assistant coach Kieran McKenna and helping them keep pace in the Championship promotion race this season.
