(n.) the quality of being oneself;
Ipseity derives from ipse, Latin for “self” or “itself”; it refers to the most basic sense of selfhood or self-presence.
Embracing our individuality - what makes us unique; accepting not only our favorite parts of ourselves, but also our least favorite parts - and knowing that they equally make us who we are.
Through self discovery and guided inquiries you will uncover the qualities that make you distinctly you and widen for what you came here to do. Listening to our values, beliefs, and motivations empowering us to navigate life with clarity and purpose.
We bring our selfhood into community and relate in movement, stillness, touch and ritual. Through bringing the stories written in the body forth we see that the seamingly outside ourselves is us. Bringing our uniqueness into the company of others is why we are here, isn’t it?
When seen and felt as we are, we truly belong.
We invite you on a 2 weekend journey to unlock the power of ipseity and embrace the fullness of our unique selves.

* A safe container is held with clarity as we ride the cosy confines of comfort as well as the edges of discomfort. We will be in honouring through movement by letting our bodies speak.
* No prior dance or movement experience is needed. Whether you are a beginner, a professional mover, or anything in between - this course is for everyone! All you need is an open mind, your curiousity and a willingness to learn.
* Please bring an open heart and a soft belly to the various ways Ipseity might express through other souls in motion.

Camilla is the creator of Embodied Permission and lives pleasure led as a lifestyle.
She brings 30+ years experience of teaching movement in stillness and sound. Mentor, embodiment coach, teacher, facilitator, writer and motivational speaker.
She believes that every single one of us is unique and necessary.
Moving presence, mindful living, embodied leadership and conscious relating are some of what she brings to the floor as well as in the everyday. Her heart strongly beats for the power of leaning into the arms of community to learn from one another.

[Ipseity] will be in the field of Embodied Permission - a somatic approach to living, loving and leading with pleasure, play and purpose.
Embodied Permission is the bundle of conscious movement practices, nervous system regulation, physiology and anatomy, right left brain communication for living and leading life as a moving meditation.
As we find safety within ourselves we allow joy and ease to be the inner compass needle we follow.
We stay with what is tight until it loosen its grip, with what is narrow until it widens.
Selected music from contemplative to powerful and the sound of silence supports us. In a safe space where there is no judgement, no right or wrong, everything is possible and nothing is expected you can relax, feel yourself and express freely.
