CAFRE staff invite you to a Teacher Development Insight Day at Loughry Campus.
Loughry Campus Food Technologists have been exploring CCEA specifications and have devised a Food Insight Day to assist you with the delivery of your qualifications with a focus on the research project - research essentials – tools, tips and techniques.
We are delighted to introduce this new workshop, expertly delivered by our research specialists.
In addition, we are offering three workshops providing insights into packaging, sustainability and science.
Food Waste - The Role of Packaging
Explore the environmental and ethical issue regarding food waste; contributors to the issue of packaging waste.
Food Security and Sustainability
Examine consumer behaviour when making food purchasing decisions and consider the issues and implications of consumer food choice.
The Physics of Flavour - Reformulation
Investigate how reformulation changes impact consumer experiences using principles from food physics and sensory science.
