Invasive Plant Workday at Confluence Natural Area!

Meeting location: 4214 Highland Farm Road, Hillsborough, NC 27278.

What to bring: A water bottle, closed-toed shoes, and clothes you don't mind getting dirty. Feel free to bring your favorite work gloves, bug spray, sunscreen, or invasive plant removal tools!

What we bring: Extra water, bug spray, sunscreen, granola bars, work gloves, and all the tools and equipment you'll need!

What we'll be doing: Using loppers, hand saws, and machetes to cut invasive multiflora rose (Rosa polyantha), false hawksbeard (Youngia japonica), and chinese privet (Ligustrum sinense) and treat it with herbicide. We welcome new volunteers!
