Invasive Plant Removal Volunteer Day!

Join us for a hands-on volunteer opportunity at the Pismo Preserve! This monthly volunteer day aims to protect the natural beauty of the Pismo Preserve while fostering community involvement and environmental stewardship.

Date & Time: Second Wednesday of each month at 9:00 AM

Location: Pismo Preserve

What to Expect:

• Learn to identify invasive plant species.
• Receive training on the best practices for effective removal.
• Work alongside our knowledgeable staff who will guide you through the process.
• Enjoy the scenic beauty of Pismo Preserve while contributing to its conservation.

What to Bring:

• Comfortable outdoor clothing and sturdy closed-toe shoes.
• Sun protection (hat, sunscreen, sunglasses).
• Water bottle.
• Gloves, if you have them.
• Enthusiasm for conservation and a willingness to get your hands dirty!
