SLO Coast Wine Classic

We invite you to join the winemakers of the SLO Coast AVA on March 15-16, 2025 in Pismo Beach for our fourth annual SLO Coast Wine Classic, highlighting the uniqueness of the wine community on the San Luis Obispo Coast. The weekend will be filled with wine pairings, fun seminars, fantastic food, and opportunities to mingle with winemakers and fellow wine lovers. Most importantly, it’s a great way to taste wines that you may never have tried before!

This gorgeous welcome-to-springtime event will feature three events throughout the weekend:

• Main Event, Saturday, March 15 - 10:30 am - 4 pm: Two Wine Tasting Seminars, Lunch + Regional Tasting at Thousand Hills Ranch. Catered lunch will be provided. Thousand Hills Ranch, Pismo Beach. $125 pp
• Regional Tasting only, Saturday, March 15 - 1:30 pm - 4 pm: Join us for a walk around regional tasting and try wines from over 20 SLO Coast wineries and mix and mingle with winemakers. Food will be available for purchase. Thousand Hills Ranch, Pismo Beach. $75 pp

• Sparkling Wine Down, Sunday, March 16 , 11 am - 1:30 pm: Outside at SeaCrest’s Oceanfront Terrace / SeaCrest Hotel: 2241 Price St, Pismo Beach. $85 pp

Saturday’s Seminars & Tasting will take place indoors at the beautiful Thousand Hills Ranch off of Price Canyon Road in Pismo Beach. The day will be being with two wine-tasting seminars featuring a lineup of the AVA’s finest winemakers and their wines, highlighting what makes the SLO Coast wine region so unique. They will be followed by a catereed lunch. Wrapping up the afternoon fête is a walk-around Regional Tasting where you can enjoy wines from a variety of SLO Coast Wine producers and enjoy local live music.

If you’re pinched for time, tickets for just the Regional Tasting only from 1:30 pm - 4 pm are available for $60.

On Sunday, head over to the wine-down with us at a casual sparkling wine tasting. There’ll be effervescence galore as we’ll offer sparkling wines from a variety of SLO Coast producers. You can taste Rosé, Blanc de Blancs, Blanc de Noirs, Pet-Nat, and almost every other variation of sparkling wine you can think of. We’ll also have bubble-friendly food pairings including local oysters and fried chicken, plus live music. It will be the perfect way to get your day started, whether you’re heading off to visit SLO Coast AVA wineries or just going back home.
