Invasive Plant Removal Day

Help us remove invasive plant species from the riparian areas at Murfree Spring. Volunteers in this event may be tasked with using hand tools such as loppers, hand saws, snips and rakes (provided by Outdoor Murfreesboro). Sturdy, closed-toe shoes are required. No sandals, crocs or flip-flops. Long pants and long sleeves are recommended as are hats, sunscreen and insect repellent. Volunteers should also bring a water bottle. We have work gloves to lend but if you have your own preferred pair, bring them. For ages 18+.
