Intuitive Movement Meditation (IMM): A Monthly Embodied Practice
About this Event
Intuitive Movement Meditation (IMM): A Monthly Embodied Practice
Welcome
Intuitive Movement Meditation (IMM) is a monthly embodied practice that integrates mindful movement, breath awareness, yoga philosophy, contemplative practices, and self-reflection to support interoceptive awareness, stress regulation, and nervous system resilience.
Rather than emphasizing performance or perfection, IMM invites participants into a practice of presence, curiosity, and compassionate awareness.
Each gathering offers an opportunity to reconnect with yourself while exploring movement as a pathway toward greater self-understanding, resilience, and community.
What You'll Experience
Each workshop may include:
• Gentle embodied movement
• Breath awareness practices
• Guided meditation
• Reflective journaling
• Individual and community reflection
• Yoga philosophy presented in an accessible way
• Contemporary research on embodiment and nervous system regulation
• Time for integration and meaningful conversation
Every practice is offered through a trauma-informed lens that honors choice, accessibility, pacing, and self-agency.
Who This Is For
IMM welcomes anyone seeking a more intentional relationship with themselves.
Whether you're new to mindfulness, an experienced practitioner, or someone working within education, healthcare, movement, or the wellness field, IMM offers a welcoming space to deepen awareness through embodied practice.
No previous movement or meditation experience is required.
The IMM Journey
IMM is designed as an evolving journey of embodied awareness.
Rather than offering isolated workshops, each monthly gathering explores a unique theme that builds upon the last, creating an intentional pathway through movement, breath, reflection, yoga philosophy, contemplative practice, and community.
Participants are welcome to begin wherever they are. There is no "right" month to start—each workshop offers a complete experience while contributing to the larger journey.

About the Facilitator
Tasheena Medina Chavez is an educator, yoga teacher, and founder of Intuitive Movement Meditation (IMM).
