INTUITIVE CREATIVITY
The Archetype of the Wild Self
August 24 - 28 (10.00 - 13.30)
Individual sessions take place between 14.30 - 20.00
This 5-day workshop introduces participants to some of the most important cornerstones of the research and process work of the Thomas Prattki Centre at arthaus.berlin. The intensive takes myths and tales around the archetypal image of the Wild Self, a metaphor for a deeply intuitive, creative freedom that belongs to our inner nature beyond societal constraints, as a point of departure for the exploration of the more intuitive layers of our creativity. What are the guides we read about in old folk tales that lead us into the Liminal, where the Wild Self resides? What are the thresholds that need to be crossed before being able to (re-)connect with our intuition?
We will work with intuitive movement, active imagination, voice, and the expressive arts to create a body of experiences that we share with each other at the end of the workshop.
As part of this workshop, each participant will have two individual sessions with members of the team. These sessions, each 60-75 minutes long, will take place in the afternoons and are meant to deepen the participants' journey. Each team member will work with a different modality - movement, voice, guided drawing/sculpting - and will provide you with the opportunity to relate to your intuitive creativity in the more personal setting of an individual session. These sessions are not therapeutic but are meant to offer a more personal environment that allows each participant to listen to and follow their own intuitive impulses.
With Anne Loek Beernink, Nora Goetting & Thomas Prattki
