Introduction to Western Knife Skills
In this introductory knife skills class, we will focus on the safest and most efficient cutting techniques. Utilizing the classic chef knife shape, this class will highlight a range of cuts that can be used to level up your everyday cooking. We will prepare vegetables for both raw and cooked applications. Students will develop foundational skills that can be applied to a wide range of cusines, building confidence in their cutting approaches.
Knives, cutting boards, and peelers will be provided. We encourage attendees to wait until after the class to purchase your vegetables for the week, as you will leave with all the vegetables that you process.
