Introduction to Texture with Helen Newsome
About this Event
In this two-part, all materials provided class, you will first explore and experiment with several different texture products from different manufacturers to see what effects they produce, and how to employ them for the most effect. In the second session, after the textures have thoroughly dried, you will then have the opportunity to experiment with paint and color as well as other added materials to see how they behave on the various surfaces you have created. No art experience is required for this class; however, abstract artists can benefit from finding new ways to enhance their abstract painting as well as explore new and interesting materials.
Materials provided by instructor: Instructor provides all art surfaces and textures, mediums, tools and paints.
