Introduction to Identifying Beetles
About this Event
Overview
If you've ever wanted to know more about beetles now's your chance! Join Countryside Ranger and Entomologist Lydia for this session on british beetles and how to identify them.
This FREE event will combine a morning classroom session on beetle identification, including what features to look out for, how to tell apart different beetle families, and highlighting some of the beetles you're most likely to come across. The afternoon will involve a chance to collect some beetles of your own and have a go at identifying them yourself. Microscopes and identification guides will be available for you to try.
While this event is aimed at complete beginners, more experienced entomologists are also welcome.
