About your instructor: Gabriel Evenson is an artist and designer based in the heart of western Minnesota. His creative journey spans typography, painting, and graphic design, but his passion extends into the world of folk arts, including woodworking and bookbinding. Growing up on the wide plains of western Minnesota, he was immersed in a rich tradition of folk arts from an early age. One of his most cherished memories is watching his grandfather skillfully craft toys and furniture in his woodshop. Fueled by curiosity and a love for adventure, he honed his skills during countless family camping trips, where the great outdoors became his canvas and inspiration.
