Many of us have asked an AI assistant a question. However, have you seen what the same tools can do when they are pointed at the various jobs which take up a working week?

Join us for a relaxed introduction to these tools as Shabaz Syed delivers this new pilot session at the Business & IP Centre. We will look at several of them together on screen, and you will see what they can produce, where they work well, and where they still need a person checking the result.

Come along, watch, ask questions, and decide for yourself which of them are worth your time.

We will look at:

· Building a simple website for a business from nothing more than a plain description of what it does.

· Producing a branded quote or proposal document from a few details.

· Turning a spreadsheet into a clear chart and a short written summary.

· Setting up a straightforward automation for a repetitive administrative task.

The session will include:

· Welcome and introductions, and a short look at where these tools are genuinely useful today.

· Live demonstrations, working through the examples above on screen and talking through each step.

· A break for refreshments part way through.

· Time for questions, and a look at anything the room is particularly interested in.

Who should attend:

· Sole traders, freelancers and people in the early stages of starting a business.

· Business owners and managers who are curious about AI but have not found a practical way in.

· Marketers, content creators and designers who would like to see what these tools can do.

What to bring:

Bring your laptop if you would like to follow along. However, this is entirely optional, as everything is shown on screen at the front.

No prior experience required:

You do not need a technical background or any experience with AI. Everything is explained in an introductory manner as we go, and questions are welcome at any point. If the most AI you have used is a search engine, you will be in good company.
