This class will introduce students to the basic technique of tablet weaving. Tablet weaving uses perforated tablets, also called cards, to organize the warp yarns. The cards are threaded with colored yarns, and the order in which the weaver turns them creates the pattern. We’ll use a simple post loom to make a sampler, and students will take their cards and three easy patterns home to try later. Instructed by Peg Deppe.
