Intro to Scenę Study

There are several techniques on “how to act”, but how do you take that knowledge and apply it practically to the written words on the page? How do you move the audience so that they feel what you feel?

In this scene study workshop you’ll learn a bit about the craft behind the artistry: how to analyze a scene, develop a character, improve your delivery of lines. And above all, recognize the hidden gems on the page that help you make clear and specific character-driven choices and actions.

So come learn practical ways to read and understand a scene so that you can be empowered to bring forth your unique version of a character and develop into a more interesting and engaging actor!

Students should bring note-taking materials. And a drink/snack, if they’d like.
