Intro to Nettle

Come join us on Sat May 18, 2024 at 7:00 PM at South Sound Fresh for an evening of discovery and learning about the wonders of the stinging nettle with K & Victoria. This in-person event will introduce you to the various uses and benefits of Nettle, a plant known for its many health properties. It will also go over the cultural significants, of this native plant. As well as its intriguing back story. In this class you will get to handle young stinging nettle, dried nettle and seeds!

We will also be cooking a lovely nettle filled meal in class. So come hungry, and bring a jar for leftover tea to take home! In this seasonal class we will be cooking:

Stinging nettle gnocchi in a sage & nettle brown butter sauce

Hibiscus Nettle Iced Tea
