Welcome to the wonderful world of needle felting!
In this beginner-friendly workshop, you will learn about the tools and techniques of needle felting while making your own needle felted mushroom sculpture to take home.
$50 members, $60 non-members
Plus a $15 materials fee payable to the instructor on the day of the class for the specialized tools which you get to keep.
About Jaime
A Thomasville native, Jaime Moody has returned after 25 years away to teach at Scholar's Academy. She has been an artist all her life and considers herself an eclectic artist, always exploring new materials, techniques, and creative possibilities. In a portfolio that spans mixed media, drawing, charcoal and pastels, photography, crafting, and fiber arts, one of her greatest passions is needle felting, an art form she have been practicing for about five years. She loves the creativity and versatility of fiber arts and enjoys bringing imaginative ideas to life through felt. She believes creativity is a wonderful way to explore, connect, and express ourselves.
