Co-ed. Beginner-friendly. No experience required. Ages 14+.
Feel free to bring a friend - starting together can make it even more fun - but it’s definitely not required.
What Is Jiu-Jitsu?
Jiu-jitsu is a grappling-based martial art that emphasizes technique, leverage, and control - not size or strength.
BJJ gives us the tools to:
• Defend ourselves
• Escape bad positions
• Control situations safely
• Stay calm and confident under pressure
It’s often called “human chess” - strategic, technical, and mentally engaging.
What You’ll Experience:
• Clear, beginner-friendly instruction
• Foundational positions and movements
• Safe, structured partner drills
• A positive, no-ego training environment
• Time for questions about training and getting started
What to Wear & Bring:
• Comfortable workout clothes you can move in
• A water bottle
• A friend if you'd like - or come solo and make one here!
$20 registration fee
(Can be applied toward membership if you join that day.)
