The Spring Equinox marks a moment of perfect equilibrium, when light and dark are equal. After a long winter, many of us are ready for that kind of steadiness.
In collaboration with The Gray Matters Collective, weโre gathering for an evening of deep rest, resonance, and renewal through therapeutic sound, designed with your mental wellbeing at its heart.

Many of us have been running on empty for longer than we might admit. We've normalized the tension in our shoulders, the restlessness at night, the quiet hum of anxiety that seems to run in the background.
This evening is an invitation to put it down and surrender into sound
Sound has been used for centuries to calm the nervous system, reduce anxiety, and support emotional balance. Modern research continues to affirm what so many have felt firsthand - that therapeutic sound can quiet the mind in ways that are difficult to access any other way.
Guided by professional musician and certified therapeutic sound practitioner Lynne Stukart, this 75-minute therapeutic sound immersion moves through your body in ways that go deeper than words, deeper than thought, deeper than effort.

This evening is presented in collaboration with The Gray Matters Collective, whose work to reduce stigma, foster connection, and support mental well-being in our community naturally complements the restorative nature of therapeutic sound. The evening opens with a brief mental health awareness presentation grounded in compassion, education, and genuine community care.
Then you'll melt into intentional sound as Lynne guides you through:

What is a sound bath?
A sound bath is a deeply relaxing experience where participants are "bathed" in sound waves produced by various healing instruments. These instruments often include singing bowls (Tibetan &/or crystal), gongs, tuning forks, chimes, drums, flutes, and other sonic tools that produce calming sounds. The goal of a sound bath is to promote deep relaxation, reduce stress, and restore balance to the mind and body through the power of sound.
During a sound bath, participants usually lie down comfortably or in a seated position, often with their eyes closed, while the practitioner plays the instruments in a specific sequence. The sounds and vibrations help guide the listener into a deep meditative state, where they can experience reduced mental chatter, emotional release, and physical relaxation. A sound bath can also align and balance the energy centers in the body (also called chakras).

What should I bring to a Sound Bath?
It's recommended to bring a few essentials to ensure you're comfortable and fully immersed in the experience. Here are some ideas: a yoga mat, cushion, or blanket to lie on comfortably, a zero gravity folding chair, a pillow or cushion for your head and neck support, an eye mask, a water bottle, personal items like crystals, and an open heart and mind.

This time is to check in, set up your personal items (yoga mat, pillow, etc.), and ask any questions you may have before the Sound Bath Journey begins. Meet and greet with other attendees in community. In the ticket section, select the amount. All tickets are general admission.

Time to Reflect
Info: This time is space for reflection (feel free to bring a journal if you would like). This is a safe space to share in community if you feel called. This also allows you time to gather your belongings, talk with other attendees, and take your time heading home for the evening. Get ready to sleep incredibly well after this session! Drink plenty of filtered water after the sound bath, and you may find it helpful to journal what you experienced.
