Welcome to Intro to Improv!

We are excited to offer an Intro to Improv Workshop with Matt McCann!

Matt has performed, and/or taught the art of improvisation for over 10 years. He is lucky enough to be part of Northwest Indiana’s premier improv group, Well Suited Improv, and teaches improv at Valpo High School. He thinks that even a short time, studying improv can make a world of difference in anyone’s life.

This workshop will cover the basic entry level concepts of what it takes to improvise on stage. Participants will learn basic stage work and be able to perform short, improvised scenes with no written dialogue prepared.

Whether you're a seasoned performer or a complete beginner, this event is perfect for anyone looking to unleash their creativity and quick thinking skills. Matt will guide you through a series of fun games and exercises designed to help you think on your feet and have a blast in the process. So come on down and get ready to laugh, learn, and make some new friends along the way!
