Celebrate early reading, writing, and creativity with Valpo’s education department at Dunes LitFest on Friday, May 3, from 4-6 p.m. In partnership with The Press bookstore and the Porter County Public Library System, this children’s literature festival is both family friendly and action-packed. Attendees will enjoy readings from three award-winning, local authors – Cozbi A. Cabrera, Eric Rohmann, John David Anderson – music from ScribbleJim, lunch on the downtown strip or from participating vendors, book signings, and more.
