HOW TO READ A CREATIVE BRIEF: Key pain points directors should look out for when reviewing a client's creative brief, and how it impacts your vision and pitch.
WHAT TO INCLUDE IN YOUR PITCH: A breakdown of pitch decks/treatments from Direction, Cinematography, Editing, Sound, & Production Design, and how to communicate your copy in simple and clear language.
HOW TO MAKE THE MOST OF YOUR PREPRODUCTION: Introducing valuable tools and techniques to aid their visions such as…
STORYBOARDS: An illustrated shot-by-shot guide to plan the flow of images and story.
ANIMATICS/PREVIS: A shot-by-shot animation of your storyboard/video on location that provides an in-depth previsualization of your project.
FLOORPLANS: Visualizing the space to plan for blocking, camera movements and lighting prior to principal photography.
WHAT TO EXPECT IN POST: An overview of the post-production process from editing, sound, and color grade, in tandem with client input and feedback.

Paula Ner Dormiendo is a Filipino Canadian Director, Editor and aspiring multidisciplinary artist based in Brampton, focused on community-driven storytelling and empathy-led productions, with works supported by the City of Brampton, BAO, and the CBC.
