Intro to Carbon Literacy for Wrexham's Voluntary Sector.

Join us for an introduction to Carbon Literacy Workshop designed specifically for voluntary organisations in Wrexham. This free workshop is part of the Wrexham Energy Action project, run by the Litegreen Foundation CIC which aims to provide local groups with the knowledge and support they need to improve energy efficiency, reduce carbon emissions, and lower operational costs.

This workshop will equip you and your team, including volunteers, with the essential tools to make your operations more sustainable and cost-effective.

About the Wrexham Energy Action Project:
The Wrexham Energy Action project offers voluntary sector groups in Wrexham free access to local, impartial energy and construction experts for reliable guidance on energy efficiency, carbon reduction, and cost savings. We’ll help you understand where you and your community building stand and provide direction on how to implement sustainable practices, renewable upgrades, and cost-saving measures effectively.

Our detailed reports can also strengthen your applications for capital funds to improve community buildings. In addition to this workshop, we offer training on carbon reduction, energy efficiency, and carbon literacy to help you and your beneficiaries move forward with confidence. This project is made possible thanks to funding from the UK Shared Prosperity Fund, Wrexham County Council, Cadwyn Clwyd, and the Association of Voluntary Organisations in Wrexham (AVOW).
