Balancing acts have always been a favorite of audiences. In this introductory workshop, learn how to practice the art of belly dance while incorporating the crowd-pleasing act of balancing props as you dance, specifically the candle tray. Practicing with balance props also helps enhance your posture, poise, and control.A very small number of trays will be available to borrow, or you can bring any sturdy metal or plastic tray that’s between 12 and 15 inches across. Thrift stores and resale shops are an excellent source for these.
No props experience needed, some previous belly dance experience recommended.
