Intro to Bikepacking and Adventure riding

Ever thought about riding your bike somewhere, setting up camp, and waking up ready to roll again the next morning? If that sounds even a little exciting, our Intro to Bikepacking and Adventure Riding class is for you.

This class is all about taking any bike you love and turning it into a ticket to adventure. Gravel bike, mountain bike, road bike, if it can carry you and a little bit of gear, it can take you on an overnight trip. We will talk about what bikepacking really is, how it is different from traditional touring, and how to make it work with the bike you already own.

We will cover the basics like what gear you actually need, how to pack efficiently, how to choose a route, and what to expect on your first overnight. We will also share lessons learned from real trips so you can skip some of the rookie mistakes and feel confident planning your own.

If you are brand new, this will give you a clear starting point and help you realize it is more doable than you think. If you have been riding for years and just have not taken the leap into sleeping under the stars, this might be the push you need.

The class will be taught by Ryan who is a store employee and has decades of experience exploring the mountains on and off the bike. We will also be offering discounts to those who come on products demonstrated in the class in store. Furthermore, we are using this class to see if we can plan a very quick and easy overnight adventure for our customers sometime in the summer.
