Intro to Ballet
SATURDAYS 3:45-4:45pm with MIYOUKI JEGO
You always wanted to! Strength, flexibility, and grace will lead this ballet technique class as we learn the basic positions and structure of ballet technique. You will be guided through our ballet barre, creative centre practice, strength-building jumps, and classical choreography. Ballet is a beautiful moving art form that can take years to perfect. This short commitment intro to ballet technique offers you a taste — how to be in a ballet class, basic positions, a feel for the style.
This class is offered as a sessional or Drop-In only and is not part of full-year registration. Dancers from this intro class may choose to join the beginner courses after this session.
