Intro to Art Media Class at the Cookeville Art Studio

Life Drawing/Painting Sessions at CAS!

Now accepting enrollment in ongoing Introduction to Art Media sessions beginning January 2026

Class topics will range from a variety of different media, from watercolor, pastel, colored pencil, acrylic, graphite, and much more. Easels/chairs/table space and all materials provided. We will explore a new media each month.

Facilitation will include:

• 6:30-7:30
• Introducing subject matter, and teaching on use of media

• Techniques, demos and drills in chosen media for that month
• 7:30-8:15
• Individual creating and exploring media
• 8:15-8:30
• Group Critique of all student work at end of each session

Where: Cookeville Art Studio

When: Thursdays 6:30-8:30pm 2026

Cost: $20 drop in and/or pay what you can

Maximum 20 people per session

Age Range: 15-Adult
