What if the wisdom you need to heal already lives within your body, your lineage, and the natural world around you?
In this time of artificial intelligence and colonial powers, it is imperative that we remember our natural intelligence and ancestral powers. Dr. Laura Batson, Naturopathic Doctor (ND) and African Diviner invites us to reconnect with forms of natural and ancestral intelligence that have been suppressed, lost, or misappropriated by modernity.
Through teachings, embodied practices, plant and land-based wisdom, ritual, and ancestral connection, we will explore the healing knowledge carried within our bodies, souls, communities, and ancestral lineages.
This is an opportunity to remember and re-member the intelligence and healing powers that are already part of us. We will consider healing not only as a personal journey, but also as an act of cultural remembrance, collective liberation, and intergenerational restoration.
Together, we will explore what it means to reclaim ancestral ways of knowing and reconnect with the possibility of healing across seven generations, both backward and forward.
Please bring a stone smaller than your palm that has some significance to you! We will be using them in the rituals and you will bring it back home.
