Special film screening featuring TWO extraordinary documentaries that celebrate body acceptance, resilience, and collective strength.Join us for an intimate and empowering International Women’s Day screening featuring two extraordinary documentaries that honor women’s bodies, resilience, and collective strength. From the fitting rooms of a beloved bra shop in Jaffa to the open waters paddled by breast cancer survivors in Israel, this program celebrates vulnerability as power, humor as healing, and community as lifeline. Together, Full Support and Paddling for Life offer moving, deeply human portraits of women supporting one another through life’s most tender and transformative moments.
Following the screening, guests are warmly invited to stay for a facilitated time of sharing and conversation—an opportunity to reflect, connect, and be in community with one another in the spirit of International Women’s Day.

Against the backdrop of a multicultural city, fitting rooms become intimate sanctuaries where shoppers of all ages embrace vulnerability, baring not just their bodies but their souls. Through candid confessions, customers and shop owners alike find empowerment in deeply personal, sometimes heart-rending, and often humorous reflections on womanhood, and their complicated relationship with their bodies. This Israeli Best Documentary Academy Award nominee celebrates every curve, contour, and stretch mark, offering a refreshing take on the universal bonds that unite women across cultures and generations.
Paddling For Life • Midwest Premiere Documentary • Israel | 2021 | 18 minutes
Paddling for Life is a short documentary about the Pink Lionesses in Israel. They are a unique women sports group whose common goal is to recover and recuperate from breast cancer. They paddle in Dragon Boats on the Sea of Galilee and the Yarkon River as they build strength, community, and resilience.
