In honor of International Women’s Day Marshalltown Community College will be hosting a panel discussion featuring community leaders.Panelists include:
• Melisa Fonseca, Founder & Broker/Owner, Alta Vista Real Estate | Fourth Ward Councilwoman.
• Sydney Grewell, MS, BS, Marshall County Public Health Director.
• Maria Gonzalez, Community Organizer, Iowa Migrant Movement for Justice.
• Maria Acosta, Community Organizer, Iowa Migrant Movement for Justice.
• Tiffany Beadle, MPACT Advocate. Beadle is an MPACT Advocate and a lifelong resident of the Marshalltown area.
The panel is open to the public and no registration is needed. The event will be held 11:30 am to 1 pm in rooms 612 and 614. A song created for this special day and created by the MCC Broadcasting and Digital Media students will be shared during the event as well.
