We invite you to join us on March 11th to participate in a discussion about cancer in Marshall County. The meeting will include a presentation by staff from the Iowa Cancer Registry to discuss the project’s findings, address cancer concerns specific to your community and explore potential policy changes to support healthier behaviors. The meeting is open to the public and a portion of the time will be dedicated to an open discussion. This will be an opportunity to listen to community concerns and gather feedback that can inform future cancer control efforts.

About: The Cancer in Iowa: 99 Counties Project is an initiative aimed at enhancing cancer education and community engagement across all of Iowa's 99 counties. The primary goal is to provide county-specific cancer information through detailed reports. Project team members will present report findings in each county through in-person or virtual meetings, focusing on county-specific cancer incidence, risk factors, and prevention strategies.
