Prairie Ridge Integrated Behavioral Healthcare is honored to partner with the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP) to host North Iowa's first annual International Survivors of Suicide Loss Day.
Losing someone to suicide can bring a unique kind of grief, and finding others who understand that experience can make a meaningful difference.
This event offers a welcoming and supportive space for individuals who have lost someone to suicide to come together, honor the lives of those they've lost, connect with others who understand, and find comfort and hope through shared experiences.
Whether your loss was recent or many years ago, you are welcome here. There is no expectation to share your story or find the right words. Simply being present is enough.
